I went to Collectormania today. It was pretty cool. I got a picture with George Takei, an autograph by David Soul, went to a Torchwood talk with Kai Owen and Garreth Loyd David, where Kai Owen spent more time singing a song from High School Musical than answering questions.
My sister developed a bit of a crush on the guy who played 16 year old Voldemort, (He's 18, so it's okay), and I got to chat with some very lovely Klingons. I even got a picture with them. This was after they shouted at me, teasing me for being from TOS. Oh yeah, did I mention that I was wearing my mirror!Kirk outfit? A few guys wanted their picture taken with me because of that, and the guy sitting next to David Soul totally fangirled over it, because he thought Mirror Mirror was the best TOS episode. I'm still disapointed that there wasn't a single Spock to be found.
Oh, and my sister and I randomly walked past Misha Collins twice. He smiled and said hi to us both times.

All in all, it was awesome. Tomorrow, I'll go as Test Card Girl. My sister will go as Columbia.

We were talking about our scripts in a seminar today. One of the guy suggested a script about a guy trying to wank and getting cut off all the time, so he never gets to finish. He didn't know how to end the story, though. The lecturer asked the class if we had a suggestion.

"How about a happy ending?" I suggested.
The guys laughed a lot. The girls, not so much.

I handed my computer over to get fixed today. They said it would cost 70 pounds, so I went home, got my computer, came back. (I had to buy an external harddrive for them to back it up on. However, I needed one anyway, so that's okay. I now have an extra terrabite of storage). However, when I came back, they told me the price was 149 pounds, and they couldn't guarantee that they would be able to save my adobe programs, which would suck, because I don't have the disks for it, but I do have them legally. Then it turns out that, because they'd mistakenly told me the price was 70 pounds, that's all I have to pay. So, some good news. And it will only take 3 days.

Went to bed around 10.30 pm last night, read a bit and switched off the light at 11. I slept till 9 am. And I'm still tired. Seriously, I could sleep all day. *sigh*
Those were the days when I could function on 4 hours of sleep. Back when I studied. How did I do that?
Now I'm waiting for hubby to come home. Maybe I'll have some coffee?

My computer has a virus. I need to go see if someone can fix it tomorrow. Problem is, my computer is in Norwegian. I may have to stay around and show them how it works. It's just a virus/trojan horse. How long can that take? And as soon as they do that, I'll buy another, huge harddrive, back my computer up. Oh, and update my virus control. I didn't know it had run out.

I love all the little voices he makes. Also, I kind of see why this scene was cut from the movie. Some of the lines and looks were almost bordering on raunchy, weren't they?

I just had another chat with the guitar teacher on the phone. Since my friend has some basic knowledge already he said he'd prefer it if I caught up with her before he teaches us both. He offers free trial lessons - and I just remembered that I have a free day next week. I made an appointment on Wednesday. So... I'll have my first guitar lesson next week! OMG. OMG!!!!
I mean... I really really wanna do this. I'd be immensely happy if I could at least learn some basic stuff, that would be awesome.

The season 3 finale of The Guild is now up, and all I have to say is
SQUEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Spoilers and capslock )
Wil Wheaton, how can you sneak into my life like you have, being epic. I can't even remember what brought you to my attention, but through your twitter and blog, and now The Guild and a little bit how cute you are in Toy Soldiers, or when you make your own high pitched squeeing sounds, you are on my list of people I really like. You're also on my list of people I admire because you make me feel inspired to get off my ass and do things.

Seriously, why can't I find fanfic for The Guild. Please, anyone who's ever seen any of it, links?
